As a casual observer it's pretty obvious, to me anyway, how Britney Spear's appointment this morning (02.21.07) with criminal defense attorney Blair Berk's office was more than just an interview. One may speculate that in spite of the behavorial science project she is undertaking in public these days, there could be strategy developing regarding Spear's defense of her fitness as a parent. With calls actually coming in from Malibu to Social Services phone lines, this story could be much, much larger by month's end. As if the divorce, the haircut, the tattoos, the club thing weren't enough!

In Seattle we have celebrities of our own to worry about. The date has been set for DJ DV One's criminal trial. It's unreal how the city just won't let this one go in spite of very big evidence of police abuse stemming from an incident @ Seattle Center months ago. March 19th is court day. Cheap and tawdry are polite words I can think of about this Anna Nicole Smith Fiasco. Setting new lows for human behavior, the men in this DRAMA are disgusting. Her baby now has twenty years of media to look forward to, if she survives at all.

So the NBA suffered another blow surrounding the company it keeps, namely, Thug Life wannabes, hanger ons, and riff raff most can agree have behavior issues! Thank heaven for indie media to break what happened in Vegas last weekend. Otherwise, Sin City was almost successful keeping it all on the hush...
