December 2004 I'm all for entertainers taking their piece of the pie when it comes to big companies and their gimmicks. I'm not so sure about the Usher Mastercard though! At first it looked like they were going for 15 year old girls who needed a form of payment at Starbucks but now I see very major advertising where it shouldn't be, go figure! Which were the big records and concerts for you this year? Not many in my case. Other than The Streets and Byrdie's project, mix CDs were what I really got into during '04. If you can find them definitely check out DJ Scorpio out of ATL, DJ Scene from Seattle, DJ DoItAll from New Jersey and DJ Meddafore in PA plus many, many more. For concerts, hand down all you needed were tickets for Prince. In Crazy Pinoy drama we are groupies for this new Bond 007 title at EA Sports, GoldenEye Rogue Agent. In this installment 007 is killed and they kick out 006, who in turn joins Goldfinger! Now that's a storyline. Next we are cleaning up the remainder of the PotLuck project out of Northern California, their single "You Ain't that Fine" is something programmers need to add, and Noc On Wood Records announces the new distribution deal and calendar for Noc Rage, MadRo, and Pop Du' Rilla. March 08th is what we're hearing........ It's time for big changes at Crazy Pinoy and we will have a good idea as to what that means by midyear 2005. The concepts and functions of street promotion are changing and so must we. We really like what our management client Mr. Cinatra (Nightshield.net) is doing to up his ante' and will allocate time for him. Other than that, we're moving forward. We also don't mind getting involved with events like the upcoming Sagitarrius Ball at Qwest Field/ Seahawk Stadium December 17th in Seattle (Tickets @ Box Office and TicketMaster) AND the New Year's Eve Blowout by Noc On Wood Studios (Seattle).
